An ad hoc committee representing parents/guardians, staff, students, Board members, and community members will meet on Saturday, May 30 at 9 a.m. at CCJHS to narrow the submitted name recommendations to three options. If additional consideration is needed, a second ad hoc committee meeting will be held on Monday, June 1 at 5 p.m. at CCJHS. Both meetings are open to the public.
Final recommendations will be presented to the CUSD Board of Trustees at a future public meeting.

Students who read any book and turn in a review by the end of the month earn a "Reading Is My Jam" sticker, plus an entry in their school's year-end e-reader drawing! If you have a child age 4+ by Sept. 1, 2026, enrollment is now open for TK/Kindergarten at Lucas Elementary Dual Language Academy, Caswell Elementary Dual Language Academy, and Patricia Kay Beaver Leadership Magnet!
