Ceres, CA – 9/15/23 – Caswell Dual Language Academy, a proud 50/50 Spanish dual language immersion school, is excited to announce the start of Hispanic Heritage Week, a vibrant celebration of Hispanic culture, traditions, and contributions.
Beginning today, September 15, 2023, Caswell Academy will embark on a journey to explore the rich tapestry of Hispanic heritage. As part of the festivities, we invite our students, families, and the community to join us in celebrating this week, both at school and in the comfort of their homes.
Dress Up Day - September 15, 2023 All students and staff were encourage to participate in a special Dress Up Day at school and enjoy a Concha from local favorite Beto's Bakery. Students were invited to wear clothing that represents the diverse cultures within the Hispanic community. This is an opportunity to showcase the beauty and unity of Hispanic heritage.
Principal Maldonado expressed his enthusiasm for the event, stating, "Hispanic Heritage month reminds me of where I come from, it allows me to value my history, my parents and my heritage but most of all I feel happy to be able to share this beautiful celebration with our Caswell community ."
Celebrating at Home:
