Varsity: Central Valley defeats Livingston

JV: Central Valley defeats Livingston

Frosh: Central Valley defeats Livingston

In a must-win scenario to give themselves a chance in the playoff race, the Hawks pulled through with the clutch win.  It was the last home game of the season for CV as the program honored Albert Arevalo, Jellmar Mata, Manny Carranza, Nick Dominguez, and Andre Flores.  Last night’s win sets up a huge game on Friday night as the Hawks make the short drive down Mitchell Road towards the Johansen Vikings.  With just 3 games remaining, the Hawks currently sit in 4th place at 7-4 just one game back of 3rd place Johansen who is currently at 8-3 in the WAC.  CV did beat the Vikings the first time around, so a Hawk victory on Friday would go a long way for playoff position.  Good luck to the Hawks on Friday night as they look to inch their way closer to a post-season berth.  The Frosh and JV also picked up victories last night to complete the sweep over Livingston.  The Frosh remain in 2nd place and the JV Hawks still hold the top spot at the JV level.
